You are able to look at data from previous years by restoring your information into EasyBooks.  You cannot use other programs to open and view your backups.

Before you restore your data, be sure you have a good backup of your current year and “last” year data.

Restore your previous years data into EasyBooks by selecting File>Restore Current Year
Once you have finished with the data, click on File>Restore Current Year and if necessary File>Restore Last Year to bring EasyBooks back to it’s current state.
