Cannot Open Downloaded Version of EasyBooks

If you have downloaded a new version of EasyBooks and the Help>About menu stills shows your previous version when opening EasyBooks, your desktop shortcut icon may have not updated.
Copy the information below and paste it into your shortcut target

C:\Program Files\EDP\EasyBooks\EasyBooks.exe

IF you have installed EasyBooks to a different directory, ensure the target points to that directory.

 

To Paste:

Right click on the shortcut icon on your desktop and select Properties from the menu with your left mouse button.
If the Shortcut tab information is not showing, click on the tab to display the information.
Delete the text in the Target field and paste the copied information into it.
Check that the information reads:            C:\Program Files\EDP\EasyBooks\EasyBooks.exe
Click on Apply
Click on OK
Double click on the shortcut icon and check the version number in Help>About, it should now be correct.  If not, call our Help Desk according to your support options.
